Stylized animation
This is a true story. My best friend and I met online. He left me because of mental illness. I miss him very much and I want to express my thoughts of him through this stylized animation. I hope to make a better and more complete story in a new way this year.

Design
Design my own character. the inspiration is from my favorite game.

Background Design, I hope to create an atmosphere of a dark cave with a beam of light shining into it.
Modeling
Start Modeling my character in maya.
Rendering test
Check the effect of the character Model in the rendering view.
Rigging and Texturing
Rigging the character in Maya and using substance printer to draw the character's texture. I forgot to take a screenshot of this process.
Set
Further complete the scene modeling.
Final
Put the character into the scene and set the lights, then I can start animation!

Concept Design
This time, I decided to challenge the quadrupeds.
Set concept
I hope to create a dark forest this time.
Modeling
This time, I used ZBrush to better shape the model in early version.
Detail
This time I used a new method to make the fur, and I think the result is pretty good.
Rigging
Rigging the modle and I make lot of control for my character.
Expression and pose test
Making sure my character rig is working.
Texturing
Use substance painter to add textures to the character. This time the textures are almost all hand-painted.
Final Model!
I posed my character in a cool pose and placed him in a scene that would highlight his personality and habits. Looks like it ready for capstone.
